Iggety ziggety zaggety zoom! What’s that on a BROOM? Is it a WITCH? Join Witch, her cat, her hat and her very long plait and jump aboard the broom in Tall Stories’ fun-filled adaptation of this well-loved book for youngsters, packed with music, puppetry and catchy rhymes.

Based on the best-selling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the most wonderful witch and her awesome pals are flying across Manchester from 22-24 October for Room on the Broom at Z-arts, just in time for Halloween and the October half-term holidays!

Witch and her cat are enjoying a typical witchy evening, soaring through the night sky on their broomstick, being spooky. When a strong gust of wind blows Witch’s hat away, they swoop down to the ground and find a friendly dog holding the hat in his paws. The dog, eager for an adventure, climbs onto the broomstick, becoming the first of several new passengers. Soon, they are joined by a fluttering green bird and a drenched frog. But can the broomstick hold all five of them?

Uh-oh. Disaster strikes as the broom snaps, just as a hungry dragon appears. What will happen next on this wild, wicked ride that started with just Witch and her cat? Will there be enough room on the broom for everyone?

Find out in this Olivier Award-nominated spooktacular show, described by The List as ‘a truly theatrical feast’. It’s fun, immersive, colourful and exciting, as well as being, at its core, a heartwarming tale of friendship and sharing.

Room on the Broom at Z-arts is 55 minutes long, perfect for children aged 3 and up and their families.
