Mother's Day Harewood House

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at Harewood House, Leeds 18 — 19 March 2023 Tickets from £15.00 — Book now

Spring is here and Harewood reopens seven days a week from Saturday 18 March, with a brand new exhibition and lots of exciting activities just in time for Mother’s Day. Celebrate the special women in your life with a trip to the magnificent Harewood Estate near Leeds and a magical self-care retreat that includes nurturing yoga and a nature walk. Or join in with one of the creative workshops: there’s hand-tied floral gift bouquets to be had with Hyde Park Flower Club and a concrete jewellery making workshop with Rebecca Lori from Black Violet Emporium.

There’s also afternoon tea on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March – experience the high life and relax in the elegant Billiard Room, where you’ll dine in style on delicate finger sandwiches, savouries including leek and mushroom tartlet and mackerel pâté with cornichons, homemade cakes, sweets and fresh scones with jam and cream, all served with a selection of teas or coffees or sparkles for the ultimate indulgence: add £7 for a glass of Prosecco or £15 for English sparkling wine. The special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea (£50 per adult, £20 per child for non-members) also includes a potted spring bulb gift for your mum, a long-lasting alternative to a bunch of flowers, and the price includes £15 entry fee to Harewood House as well as the gardens and grounds on the day of your visit.

And if you’re after the perfect Mother’s Day gift or card, the shop has plenty of ideas, as well as vouchers, to buy in person and online.
