Get ready for a some seriously spooky fun for families at the Mini Monster Mash at Victoria Baths this half term. Taking place on Saturday 26 October from 11am to 2pm, this wickedly wonderful Halloween event sees the historic baths transform into a haunted space set to send shivers of delight down your spine. Wizards, witches and ghosts of all ages and scaring abilities are welcome to get involved with hands-on Halloween crafts and a silent disco.

Alas, this is not for the faint hearted. The pool halls, Turkish Baths, and corridors of Victoria Baths will be decked out with spooky decorations, all set to scare! Expect creepy creaky skeletons, terrifying 9-foot ghosts, beastly bats, and hundreds of watchful eyes – gulp!

The Sports Hall (formerly the Male 2nd Class Pool) will be buzzing with family-friendly activities. Get creative with creepy mask-making, mummy-inspired paper decorations, and making your own pumpkin cards. And there’s tunes for everyone at the silent disco, where Halloween favourites like Thriller, Ghostbusters, Monster Mash, and The Addams Family will play on two channels – one for kids and one for adults – giving everyone, mums, dads, grandparents and babies a chance to show off their impeccable dance moves… Go on, you know you want to!

All that scaring – sorry – dancing, is bound to make tummies rumble! No fear, a tuck shop will be available offering light snacks, sweets, tea, coffee, and juice.

Tickets for the Mini Monster Mash at Victoria Baths are £4 per person, so not too pricey if you’re looking for something fun to do this Halloween that doesn’t break the bank.
