You don’t often come across people from Leeds who aren’t proud of their Yorkshire roots. With the Local Leeds tour you’ll find out what Yorkshire has to be proud of, in the form of mouth watering local produce. Nell, your guide, will show you six venues that are serving up locally sourced and grown culinary delights.

In each pub or restaurant en route, there will be a taster of something unique to that place. As you eat you’ll learn about the establishment and the food, both in terms of the journey it went on to reach your plate as well as the significance behind the dish. Between stops Nell will also show you some of the sites of foodie importance in Leeds. These are all places that helped to shape the culinary culture of the city in its past, through to new developments happening now.

As well as deliciously decadent food, on three of the stops, they will be accompanying drinks (included in the ticket price). These can be alcoholic or soft, but when you’re in a city associated with some of Yorkshire’s best micro breweries it would be a waste not to sample the goods. Try them for yourself and more with the Local Leeds tour.
