Ohh, yes! One of our favourite, gruesomely wonderful, live events is coming to Manchester in 2025 and this particular Horrible Histories production is all about the incredible world of the Ancient, Awful Egyptians. Horrible Histories: Awful Egyptians is coming to Palace Theatre Manchester from 13-15 February. Get ready for a hilarious and educational adventure that makes history fun for the whole family – kids, parents, grandparents included!

With talented actors and jaw-dropping 3D special effects, as well as enough disgusting-ness to have you feeling sick for at least a week, Horrible Histories: Awful Egyptians will take you on a mystical and yucky journey to Ancient Egypt where you’ll get a chance to go back to one of the darkest times in history and discover foul facts of death and decay. Meet the meanest mummies, explore the magical power of the pyramids and get ready to rumble with the mighty Ramses the Great! You’ll even get a chance to venture through the Gates of the Afterlife, where all sorts of surprises await.
