Ahoy there, mateys! Ready yer sails and set course for an adventure like no other with Groove Baby’s Grooving With Pirates at Z-arts on 13 April. Embark on a swashbuckling journey across the high seas filled with jazzy tunes, funky beats, and plenty of pirate puns that’ll shiver your timbers!

Grooving with Pirates will take you on a thrilling journey jam-packed with exciting antics and live-action, as you follow three daring pirate pals on a treacherous quest to uncover hidden treasure! But beware, me hearties, for there are monsters and mermaids lurking in the depths, ready to challenge you with musical contests and daring feats…

This is no ordinary show, and will have the whole family tapping their peg legs to the rhythm! With its mix of interactive theatre and toe-tapping tunes, Grooving With Pirates is a perfect combination of fun for the adults and fun for the littleys too!

Get into the groove with the Groove Baby Organ Trio, playing electro jungle rhythms, catchy pop melodies, and a hearty helping of 60s Blue Note soul jazz. Dancing will be hard to resist, we promise you!

This production of Grooving with Pirates at Z-arts lasts approximately 65 minutes, and is suitable for wee pirates aged 3 to 7 and their grown-ups.

Featuring musicians from the UK jazz and contemporary scene, Groove Baby shows have become a favourite among families at theatres and festivals since their inception in 2013, and parents are able to enjoy the high-quality music in a setting suitable for their youngsters too, so everyone wins!
