Will football ever come home? Maybe not. But Frank Skinner is coming to our home! Yes, the ‘Skinner’ part of Baddiel and Skinner, the comedy duo who created the iconic tune Three Lions, is heading over to Manchester this Autumn to bring his critically acclaimed comedy show, 30 Years of Dirt to the Manchester Opera House for one night only.

Following its sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and 7-nights at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End, Frank Skinner in 30 Years of Dirt has been described by Dominic Maxwell (The Times) as “a supernatural sureness of touch… just plain funny in a way that few other comics can touch… supremely fast-witted in his interactions with the crowd… exquisitely vivid in some of his turns of phrase: you can sense Skinner the poetry lover in lines”.

And this is what you can expect in this show, as with all of Skinner’s productions: quick wit, straight up humour, sureness of touch, poetic phrasing and effortless humour. It’s a chance to experience Skinner’s stand-out stage presence and see for yourselves Skinner’s clever ability to deliver light-hearted comedy with ease, while also exploring current affairs and news in a way that’s funny, but not offensive.

So book now and sit back and relax in the safe space that is Frank Skinner’s genius comedy world. 30 Years Of Dirt offers a continuous flow of fun and clever storytelling as well as punchy one-liners. It will leave you in stitches– we promise!

Frank Skinner’s 30 Years of Dirt is taking place on Saturday 9 November, just before the festive rush. Make it the night even more special with a delicious meal or drinks before or after the show at one of Manchester’s local restaurants or bars.
