Australian singer-songwriter Emily Barker returns to Band on the Wall this November, touring her third solo album, Sweet Kind of Blue.

Barker, who between 2007 and 2014 performed and recorded with her multi-instrumental trio The Red Clay Halo, pays tribute to Memphis – a city she has recently called home – with this latest album, recording in its legendary Sam Phillips Recording Service.

Having also recorded as a member of Vena Portae and country trio Applewood Road, Barker’s return to a solo guise sees her turn soul chanteuse while incorporating her blues roots.

She will be joined at Band on the Wall by London-based Pete Roe, who has played with Laura Marling, Nathaniel Rateliff and Willy Mason.
