Courtney Marie Andrews at Gorilla, Manchester, 22 April 2018, from £13.50 - Book now

Earning her musical stripes on the road with acts as diverse as Jimmy Eat World and Belgian singer-songwriter Milow, Courtney Marie Andrews has been gaining plenty of plaudits of her own since the release of her breakthrough album, 2016’s Honest Life.

Releasing records since her late teens, the 27-year-old Andrews has picked up fans including Ryan Adams and Damien Jurado, drawn to her heartfelt country songs that bring the likes of Joni Mitchell to mind.

An impressive appearance on Later… with Jools Holland, joined by pedal steel guitarist B.J. Cole, helped propel her onwards last year – and with the forthcoming record May Your Kindness Remain gaining universal praise of late, 2018 could well be Courtney Marie Andrews’ year.
