Created by live performance artist Phillip Bedwell, Circumvolution explores closeness and physical contact in the context of Covid-19 and social distancing.

In the current situation, where most physical contact has been denied, how do we express emotion and compassion? How do we continue to feel that closeness of connection? What will happen when these actions are allowed to us again? An expression of the future or Memoriam to the past?

This performative examination of closeness takes place at sunrise on Margate Beach – those who are in the area may watch the work live at a safe distance. The performance is also available to watch via live stream.
