Streamed via Zoom, Château Ghoul is a new interactive comedy show from the award-winning LipService Theatre.

This latest performance piece by ‘Britain’s favourite literary lunatics’ is set in Château Ghoul, a fictional boutique hotel in East Yorkshire. Château Ghoul offers themed weekends and the hosts, Brian and Brenda Binns (AKA B&B) are on hand to host a range of special events. There’s just one problem – the guests keep dying. This is an online haunted house-style thriller… LipService style.

Duo Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding founded LipService Theatre in 1985 and tour nationally and internationally. Masters of literary spoof, the comics have produced 20 original comedies for the stage as well as series’ for BBC Radio. The pair also boast an impressive collection of accolades and awards, including twice winners of the Critics Award for Comedy at the Edinburgh Festival for Withering Looks and Knit One Murder One; the Manchester Theatre Award Stage Door Award for Excellence 2013 and the Manchester Evening News Award for Withering Looks. This year the company celebrate 35 years of making original comedy from a distinctly female perspective. Their unique slant, infectious enthusiasm and longevity deserve the utmost respect.
