Beautiful world, where are you? at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral – Liverpool Biennial 2018

Beautiful world, where are you? at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, City Centre 14 July — 28 October 2018 Entrance is free

Five bench-like sculptures can be found on the plateau behind the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. For this new commission for Liverpool Biennial 2018, Ryan Gander dissected a model of the cathedral into a series of simple ‘building blocks’ which have been reassembled into different configurations by five schoolchildren from Liverpool.

Beautiful world, where are you? invites artists and audiences to reflect on a world of social, political and economic turmoil.  Find our full Liverpool Biennial 2018 guide here.
