Taking time for yourself and finding ways to unwind can become evermore sacred and scarce in the current pace of life most of us know. And what better way to carve out that moment for yourself than by attending an aromatherapy-based craft workshop?

Join Lizzy the owner of Cedar, for an aromatherapy candle-making workshop, where you can let go of your day-to-day worries and get hands-on with a slow and calming craft.

During the session, you’ll be guided through the process by Lizzy who has years of experience as a candle-maker and workshop facilitator. You’ll be encouraged to explore the smells and aromatherapeutic benefits of different essential oils. Following an introduction to fragrance notes, you’ll be given expert guidance on how to balance aromas to create the perfect scent.

Once you’ve finessed the fragrance, you’ll craft your own personalised candle, ready to take home with you on the day. Throughout the session, Lizzy will be on hand to offer one-to-one advice and share her knowledge, making sure you leave with a candle you can be proud of. You’ll also leave with enough candle-making skills to create your own candles at home – a great new outlet for relaxation at any time.

It is worth noting that natural ingredients and essential oils used in this workshop can cause allergic reactions, so be aware of the associated risks before attending.

Lizzy runs public workshops that are perfect for people looking to meet like-minded aromatherapy candle-making enthusiasts – and are equally as welcoming whether you turn up on your own or with a friend. For larger groups such as hen parties or special occasions, you can book a private workshop through the Cedar website.

Give yourself the gift of a relaxing time and enjoy being creative with scent this spring.
