There’s all sorts to do in this topsy-turvy, magical wonderland. Have tea as the Mad Hatter, make friends with the cunning Cheshire Cat, play a game of croquet with flamingos, challenge your family in a ginormous game of chess, get lost (and hopefully find your way back!) in a giant card maze, get dressed up as your favourite Alice in Wonderland characters, splash into the big pool of tears and wake up on the riverbank – just in time for dinner!

Back in the real world, head to Z-arts’ café, Butties and Books, with tea-party-themed food and jam tarts. After this you can visit the gift shop which offers a variety of fun keepsakes, starting at pocket-money prices. You can also pick up a specially designed activity book for £2.50, packed with Wonderland-inspired puzzles, riddles, colouring, and more.

Adventures in Wonderland has been created by the Z-arts’ in-house team. Within the Experience space, a small exhibition showcases prints of the original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland illustrations by John Tenniel, with colour by Harry G. Theaker and Diz Wallis, contributed by Macmillan Children’s Books.

Perfect for little adventurers with big imaginations, Adventures in Wonderland at Z-arts invites you to be brave and curious, to step inside the pages of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland where an incredible journey awaits. Experience the story of Alice and Wonderland like never before in this interactive play experience created especially for ages 1-8.

Feeling curiouser and curiouser? Don’t miss out – book your tickets now and take advantage of a fantastic family offer: 4 tickets for just £40. All sessions are timed and are available from Saturday 5 April, with dates released throughout the summer. For an extra special experience, step into the madness at the Launch Party, hosted by none other than the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts, on Saturday 5 April.

Located in Hulme, Manchester, Z-arts is the UK’s only dedicated arts centre for children and their families. We love that everything about Z-arts is family-friendly.
