A Christmas Carol at The Stoller Hall
Chris HorkanThe Stoller Hall hosts this one-off performance of Charles Dickens’ festive classic.
Neil Brand – who previously adapted The Wind in the Willows – has developed this version of A Christmas Carol for actors and an orchestra from its original BBC Radio 4 broadcast. He gives this festive staple a dark and atmospheric twist – with Stephen Threlfall on hand to conduct Chester Philharmonic Orchestra and Manchester Chamber Choir, plus actors from Manchester School of Theatre.
Timothy West – a familiar face from his stage and screen roles, including in Coronation Street and Eastenders – plays the leading role of Ebenezer Scrooge for this collaborative production of the Christmas favourite.
