We like words. And so it follows that we like to write about literature festivals, writing courses and blogs, as well as literary prizes of the highest order, from big-hitters such as the Manchester Writing Prize, to newer ones such as the Northern Writing Prize. In between are bookish venues, from Liverpool’s soon-to-open Central Library to Manchester’s medieval Chetham’s.
