The Old Laundry Theatre

Alex Saint

The trustees (and former trustees) for this little Bowness Theatre reads like a who’s who of British stage – with Alan Ayckbourn and Griff Rhys Jones on board and the sadly deceased Alan Rickman and Victoria Wood having previously been. The programme is varied, and not just theatre – covering new writing as well as classics and a lovely children’s programme – but it is very seasonal so do check what’s on.
