Built in the late 60’s, Hilton House has, through the years, been home to accountants, bars, healthcare businesses and many more. Up until January 2019, a large part of the building lay derelict, but now it’s both a thriving contemporary office space and a beacon for local creatives.

In recent years Hilton House has been used for exhibitions, street art campaigns and filming (Life on Mars was shot there). It also now houses the OpenHouse Gallery — a community space to the rear of the building displaying a rotating exhibition of artworks.
