Located at the very heart of Leeds city centre, Eat Your Greens is a vibrant, organic restaurant bringing a hint of European flair to the city’s plant-based dining scene. Part wine bar, part grocery store, this laid-back spot prides itself on serving up seasonal, local and organic produce as part of its mission: to nourish both people and the planet in equal measure.

Eat Your Greens

The mantra here, simply put, is described by the team as “no fuss, farm to fork goodness.” Chefs at Eat Your Greens craft weekly-changing menus that showcase the very best of what’s currently in season nearby, showcasing some beautiful dishes that manage to be inventive without feeling overly complicated. From Tuesday to Saturday, diners expect plates that let the ingredients speak for themselves: charred spring greens, heirloom pulses, punchy fermentations, and more.

The bar, meanwhile, is stocked with natural, organic and low-intervention wines, alongside crisp European beers, seasonal cocktails, and their own homemade cordials – a perfect grown up alternative for those who don’t feel like drinking the hard stuff. Whether you’re deep into your wine journey or just dipping your toe into more mindful drinking, the team here are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend a pour – so don’t be afraid to ask them for a recommendation.

Walk ins are accepted here, but if in doubt it’s always best to book ahead to avoid disappointment. On the weekends things pick up a notch with DJs spinning records in the bar until late, on with Friday and Saturday nights. Eat Your Greens also hosts a midweek chess night at its restaurant on the first Wednesday of the month, always a fun way to spend an evening with friends (or to make some new ones).

Eat Your Greens

A restaurant and bar that celebrates conscious choices without compromise, ranging from the farmers they support to the natural wines they pour, whether you’re swinging by for a glass of natural wine, indulging in s a special meal out, or looking for somewhere casual to catch some of Leeds’ best selectors on the weekend, Eat Your Greens does it all. Its kitchen is open until 9pm serving food, with the bar carrying on until 11pm for drinks in the week and 1am on weekends.
