Bopcap Books, Antiques Village, 965 Stockport Road, Manchester, M19 3NP – Visit Now

This indie bookseller is run by husband-and-wife team Ian and Suzy out of Levenshulme Antiques Village in the Old Town Hall, complete with a vinyl soundtrack. Offering a carefully curated collection of previously owned books and ephemera (film posters, magazines and so on) specialising in art, photography, design, fashion, architecture, cult literature and more, you’re bound to find something to suit your reading/gifting tastes here, and there’s a good crop of cards and wrapping paper too. As modelled in the picture here, Bopcap can also be found manning a stall at Levy Market on occasions, as can Greenhouse Books. And check out the blog – particularly the semi-regular feature Brought to Book: Things Found in Secondhand Books and What They May Reveal About Their Previous Owners.
