Wear a Hat in Stockport at Hat Works Museum, Manchester 30 March 2018 Entrance is free

Grab your best headgear and head to Stockport for a range of hat-related antics this Good Friday in aid of Wear a Hat Day to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

Head to the Hat Works Museum ( celebrating the history of Stockport’s once thriving hatting industry) for free hat making workshops throughout the day.

Merseyway Shopping Centre hosts a “Hats Off” art installation of over 200 top and bowler hats and from 11am – 4pm, children of all ages can take part in a range of more free art workshops together with a Hat Hunt themed trail to win prizes. There’s a HATWalk Show in the centre to show off all newly-made headwear.

The fun continues at Stockport’s Foodie Friday at Stockport Market from 6pm – 9pm with street food, craft ales and live music with a Mod March theme. Hold onto your hats Stockport. We’re on our way!
