The Great Gatsby at Grosvenor Park, Chester 21 July — 27 August 2023 Tickets from £23.00 — Book now

Get your dancing shoes for F Scott Fitzgerald’s American classic, The Great Gatsby, when it swings into Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre this summer. This heart-racing production is happening as part of the venue’s Great Midsummer Spectacular, a glorious summer-long theatre event that also brings a magical family-friendly open-air production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Set in 1922 America, an era of immorality, dazzling jazz and bootleg bosses, Nick Carraway encounters his bewitching cousin Daisy Buchanan and the charismatic millionaire Jay Gatsby.

Brought to stage by the same team behind the hugely successful Pride and Prejudice (2021), The Great Gatsby is set to be a raucous and indulgent production. The perfect summertime treat in Chester’s stunning open air theatre.

Established in 2010, Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is one of the UK’s best-loved open-air theatres and regularly plays to sold-out audiences across the summer. The theatre is produced by Storyhouse, Chester’s award-winning cultural centre.
