Open from 6 – 9pm on Friday evening and from 11am – 9pm on Saturday, we love that Transition Festival, through installations like this Sound Garden, encourages us to slow down, take a really good look at what is around us and experience somewhat familiar spaces through new adventures and refreshed eyes and ears.

Step through an enchanting archway into a specially commissioned acoustic adventure – an immersive Sound Garden experience in the Church Gardens adjacent to Silver Street. Created by Wild Rumpus, award winning producers of the Just So Festival (who have also designed the striking Bakelite Radio main stage in Kay Gardens) families can play together in a fantastical, multi-sensory exploration of sound. Look and listen out for vintage sound equipment, intriguing soundscapes, inspirational quotes about sound and music and a canopy of musical paraphernalia overhead.
