This Christmas, the Royal Exchange Theatre bring a true classic to the stage with Singin’ in the Rain – a dazzling, tap-dancing celebration of Hollywood’s golden age.

Set during the seismic shift from silent films to the ‘talkies’, the story follows screen star Don Lockwood as he navigates fame, love and the chaos of changing technology, with help (and hindrance) from the gloriously off-key Lina Lamont, loyal Cosmo Brown and aspiring actress Kathy Selden.

Packed with charm, romance and toe-tapping energy, this musical features some of the most iconic numbers ever written – ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’, ‘Good Morning’, ‘Moses Supposes’ and, of course, the unforgettable title song.

Director Raz Shaw returns to Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre following hit shows The Producers and Wit. This joyful production is a must-see for the festive season.
