Orgasm Addict Reframed at The Refuge, City Centre 11 — 22 October 2017 Entrance is free

Designers from around the world including Michael C Place, Craig Oldham, Swifty and Judy Blame submitted their own ‘reframed’ version of Michael Garrett’s controversial original. Garrett’s design featured a montage by the artist Linder Sterling (then both still students at Manchester School of Art), which he turned upside down and rendered in single colour to enhance the graphic impact of the sleeve.

All submissions will be exhibited during DM17 and will be displayed in some of the city’s most iconic buildings – including The Refuge at The Principle Hotel, the window of Fred Aldous store on Stevenson Square, PLANT, at the Ritz during the Buzzcocks gig on Thursday 19th October, and in some unexpected outdoor spaces across Manchester for everyone to see.
