Luminarium – Architects of Air at bluedot 2017 at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, Macclesfield 7 — 9 July 2017 Tickets from £27.50 — Book now

Chilling out at festivals is a vital survival tactic whether you are 1 or 91 and audiences at bluedot will be among the first in the UK to be immersed in the newest monumental structure from Nottingham based Architects of Air who create unforgettable large-scale, walk-in “luminaria” around the world.

These inflatable artistic experiences provide a kaleidoscope of colour and changing light and it’s a brilliant move from the clever folk at bluedot to have something of this scale to explore to balance out the overwhelming fact that we are such tiny specks in our universe.

We love the fact that this multi sensory experience is different at all times of the day and night as the colours change and the fact that you can go crazy exploring its labyrinth and cavernous spaces or just find a spot to kick back and let the light reflect over you.

We’re feeling relaxed already.
