Hafren Duo

Book now

Hafren are one of Manchester’s most exciting chambers duos at the moment. Made up of violinist Mabon Jones and cellist Dan Springate, these two musician’s indefatigable ability to hold down a thick folk groove as well as they can artfully and beautifully phrase a Shostakovich melody is what gives them such a diverse and moreish sound. Join them this Friday for an evening where they invite some of Manchester’s best musicians from the worlds of classical, jazz and folk to share the stage in Hafren Have friends.

Located at the hobby house temple of wholesomeness which is Altogether Otherwise, Hafren will be leaning into the beautifully warm acoustic of their performance space filling the whole building and garden with the perfect early summer vibes.
