Going Deutsch at Manchester Jewish Museum, Cheetham Hill 6 November 2022 Tickets from £11.00 — Book now

Should you ever go back to something that destroyed you? Going Deutsch is a brand new comedy theatre show, coming to Manchester Jewish Museum, that poses exactly that question.

Created by Jewish theatremaker Anna Clover, Going Deutsch is a one-woman show that explores relationships, inherited trauma and the way that our past shapes our future. In this unique show, Clover explores whether she should return to live in Germany by ‘dating’ the country offering her citizenship, despite taking the lives (and passports) of so many who came before her.

Should she get back with Germany? Can they get past their history? Could they ever make it work?
