Envirolution Festival showcases the very best of the city and demonstrates the community spirit Manchester is famous for.

Plant-powered food will be showcased in a collaboration with GRUB Manchester, with eight tasty vegan traders lined-up to keep festivalgoers fuelled for the day. In May 2017 GRUB launched Plant Powered Sundays which is Europe’s first weekly vegan street food event, designed to focus on everything positive about vegan food as well as assisting and mentoring street food traders in order to support the grass roots food & drink community of Manchester.

Down at the main stage  have all your movin’ and groovin’ needs satisfied as The Gaskell Garden Project will be taking over to provide a Freedom Matters-style shindig!

With a focus on inclusivity, Envirolution prides itself on being family friendly, and there are plenty of workshops perfect for kids, including arts and crafts, creating mini pop-up farms, seed bombs and also a fairtrade ground with prizes to be won.

Two of the co-creators of The Wonder Inn will be hosting the Healing Fields for the first time; offering workshops that celebrate wellbeing and togetherness – from yoga, drumming & meditation – to sound healing and dream catcher making; and you can treat yourself to a session with one of many highly skilled therapists… with much more to explore and learn about positive transformation.

Leading the conversation of the day will be the Green Discussions section, where a selection of speakers will tackle topics of the moment including how to grow your own veg, reduce how much plastic you use and get more involved in local community projects. There will also be acoustic performances, spoken word artists and dance collectives showing off their talents.

Envirolution’s Dan Gibbon-Walsh, said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome so many incredibly talented artists, groups and enterprises to Envirolution this year, and feed everyone with amazing plant-powered food. Envirolution is all about providing the community with a platform, so everyone can find out about all of the brilliant things happening in and around Manchester, and discover how they can get involved!”
