Previously featured in our coverage of last year’s Cut & Splice Festival in Ancoats and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Distractfold Ensemble returns to action at Manchester University’s Martin Harris Centre for this free lunchtime concert. The group presents works for cello, electric guitar and clarinet by postgraduate composition students from the university, alongside pieces by Simon Hellewel, Aidan Maier, Sarah Keirle and Georgios Stenos-Frantzios. No booking is required – just turn up.
