Chameleon Youth was launched in 2016 by the acclaimed Manchester based Company Chameleon. Members of the youth company have the benefit of learning directly from a professional dance company, which for ten years, has toured and performed across the world giving new meaning to dance and movement. Now, the youth company are opening their books and looking for new members, aged from 11 – 21, to join their training programme.

Company Chameleon tour internationally to wide acclaim with the company performing over fifty indoor and outdoor performances a year. The company’s inimitable and visceral choreographic style has gripped audiences the world over; their accessible storytelling and universal themes have inspired, and continue to influence, a whole new generation of dancers.

Members of Chameleon Youth will have the opportunity to train weekly with Company Chameleon’s professional dance artists, devise and create their own work and develop their own unique movement style. There will also be the opportunity to take part in regular performances throughout the year.

Following the free taster events, there will be an open audition for those who are interested in joining the company. The audition will be held at the STUN Studio at Z-Arts on Saturday 7th July.
