The title of this Manchester After Hours event is a clue to what it’s all about: ‘Be Our Guest’ is the name of one of the most famous songs from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, written by composer Alan Menken. This multi discipline exhibition at Manchester Craft & Design Centre – in association with Bad Uncle – showcases art, music and performance by practitioners based around the North West who have been inspired by Menken, a man who has won eight Oscars and seven Golden Globes (as well as numerous other accolades) for his scores for films including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Pocahontas.
