Just outside of town near Liverpool Marina and Brunswick train station, Delifonseca Dockside features an enormously popular restaurant and a stuffed-to-the-point-of-bursting continental deli.

The food hall is a modern version of a European delicatessen – with a twist of farm shop added in for good measure. There are cheese, charcuterie and antipasta and salad counters, as well as Edge & Sons award-winning butchers. They also have a cake counter heaving with all sorts of delicious take-home desserts made both in-house and by some of Liverpool’s best independent bakers. The shelves are stocked with best produce from across the world, including local, regional, British and European. Check out their wine and specialist spirit selection to find the perfect drink to pair with your meal.

The restaurant menu at Delifonseca Dockside is varied, the drinks list impressive (for its selection of tea and coffee as much as its local beers and interesting wines). One of the city’s most valued independent shops and a place that’s clearly passionate about good food – highly recommended.
