Hope Direct

Jennifer

Hope Direct in Manchester’s Trafford is no shop. It’s a warehouse, and it takes commitment and elbow grease to pick out the gems among the towering piles of furniture, toys, clothes, books, antiques and everything in between that are sold here. Hope Direct is run by a charity that raises money for vulnerable children in Sierra Leone and Cameroon; it regularly tops up its stock via house clearances. Prices vary wildly but it is worth visiting regularly if you’re after something in particular. Or check its online catalogue for what’s in stock now (note: all goods sold as seen, with no refunds).
