Immerse yourself in seven decades of history and drama on the nation’s most famous street. At this point, the Granada Television creation is the longest running soap opera in the world, and while things might have changed a little in Weatherfield over the years, but Coronation Street remains instantly recognisable to television fans up and down the country.

The iconic cobbles, terraced houses and the Rovers Return Inn have survived several moves over the years, and while the set was located in the old Granada Studios for much of its history, filming now takes place at Trafford Wharf, in MediaCityUK.

For fans who want to get closer and walk the same cobbles as the likes of Bet Lynch, Ken Barlow and Vera Duckworth, ITV run fully guided tours of the outdoor sets. Tickets are available to book in advance and also provide the opportunity to visit a themed cafe and a dedicated gift shop.
