Weekend Poetry Festival: Women in Words - Festival Brunch at Dunham Massey, 22 September 2018, from £10 - Book now

Following on from her morning creative writing workshop, Shirley May joins fellow poet Helen Mort for brunch as part of the Women In Words festival at Dunham Massey. Both are established performers, both nationally and internationally, so expect some lively and stimulating readings from the pair along with enjoyable conversation over coffee, tea and pastries.

Award-winning poet Helen Mort – described by Carol Ann Duffy as ‘among the brightest stars in the sparkling new constellation of young British poets’ – is a lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University Manchester Writing School, where Shirley May is a Visiting Fellow.

Meet at the Orangery at 11.30am for an 11.45am start.
