Whether the night before Christmas is actually as calm in your house as the words of the famous poem “when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse”or not … this enchanting show for ages 3-7 brings to life the idea that Christmas is indeed for everyone – even mice.

While Emily, waits in excitement for Christmas morning, Eddie, the little mouse resident of the house, would very much like to know why only humans are entitled to presents. Fair enough. Herald the start of two co-dependent adventures which will leave even the wriggliest of little theatregoers on the edge of their seats.

Expect frolics galore as Eddie searches for Santa to get some answers, encountering much high drama involving the huge family cat, a toy robot and the fairy from the top of the actual Christmas tree. Also to play for is discovering if Emily will actually get her special wish and what the odd-shaped pressie is waiting under the tree …..

Produced by Big Wooden Horse Theatre Company (also creators of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Monstersaurus and Aliens Love Underpants), The Night Before Christmas has played to rave reviews across the land.

Expect stunning and surprising sets and costumes, a charming cast and, at just under an hour, a sparkling pre-Christmas, family festive theatre outing with all the magic.
