In the mood for some frighteningly fantastic family bonding time this Halloween? Swithens Farm invites you to its Pumpkin Festival by Night – a spooky mix of glowing pumpkins, eerie lights and witchy mischief!

First on the agenda is the moonlit tractor ride, so bring your thick coats as it can get a bit chilly out there! On your tractor trip, you’ll head towards the glowing Pumpkin Patch, where you’ll spend a good half-hour debating over which pumpkin is ‘just right’.

Once armed with your prize pumpkin, visit the carving area where you can embrace your inner pumpkin sculptor. Expect varying degrees of success as the children create abstract masterpieces and their grownups quietly despair over collapsing lanterns and their worn out hands! Next up, feeling tired but hopefully creatively satisfied,  you can then venture into the woods which are home to a wicked witch… (if you’re brave enough).

Need a change of scene? The vintage funfair promises all the thrills of yesteryear (extra charges apply, because of course they do). And when the night air has done its work, the Snack Baa awaits with hot drinks and sustenance and whether you choose candy floss, chips or something pumpkin-spiced, it’s all pretty delicious.

Sensible ones will pounce on the Early Bird Offer: tickets at just £3 each, 25% off, and only 300 available from 28th August.

So gather your family, wrap up warm and prepare for an evening of pumpkins, laughter and mild spooks…
