In this Radical Late meet individuals and organisations from across Manchester and find out how you can join the network of events commemorating the Peterloo Massacre’s bicentenary in 2019, presented in partnership with Manchester Histories. The event is part of the People’s History Museum‘s overarching programme for 2019, with a focus on activities and events surrounding protest, in relation to these commemorations. Become a part of the events or just offer an opinion, all are welcome.
If you are keen to get involved but not able to be at the meeting there will be another Peterloo 2019 Network Meeting taking place earlier in the day from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. The Museum will also be open to casual visitors till 8 pm, as it is on every second Thursday of the month as part of their Radical Lates Series. As usual, the Museum is free to visit but there is a recommended donation of £5.
This event is suitable for ages 16+.
