Oubliette is a fun maths-themed installation, which draws inspiration from escape rooms. Developed and delivered by Manchester Metropolitan University, Oubliette sees participants solve a series of problems, each with an underlying mathematical principle, in embodied and collaborative ways. In teams of up to seven, guests must work their way around each of the eight themed challenge ‘rooms’, including a 70s Disco, an alien planet, Ancient Egypt, and the distant future.

Suitable for kids age 10 and above.
