This holiday season head on down to On My Merry Way to Merseyway at Merseyway Shopping Centre for a whole host of festive-themed activities for kids and their grownups.

From the Giving Tree to the exciting return of the Festive Huts, Merseyway has it all, including its brand-new attraction – the magical Christmas Express Depot…

Open to young elves-in-training, each child will get to go on an exciting adventure across the town centre with their very own sack filled with Santa’s important mail, ready to be sorted and posted in festive post boxes across the town. Once they’ve completed their very important task, the young helpers will get a chance to meet Father Christmas himself, receiving a special gift to take home.

Also making a return to Merseyway for its sixth year, The Giving Tree is officially up and has become a beloved part of the Stockport holiday tradition. Located in the shopping centre, you can support less fortunate children by selecting a tag from the Christmas tree. Each tag represents a gift request from a child in the Stockport community, which shoppers can purchase and return to the centre’s donation box for the gift to be delivered to each child by Christmas morning.

For those wanting to buy gifts and trinkets, the Festive Huts have also returned to Merseyway, creating a Christmassy market atmosphere across the centre. You’ll find all sorts of cute, handmade items, as well as delicious seasonal treats like Yorkshire pudding wraps and German sausages.

Victoria Nichol, Centre Manager of Merseyway said “Merseyway has always been at the heart of the Stockport community, and we’re thrilled to spread festive cheer and offer free, memorable experiences for families over the festive season. Whether it’s sharing joy through the Giving Tree or diving into the wonder of the Christmas Express Depot, we invite everyone to join us in making this a Christmas to remember.”
