Expect much hilarity, puppets, projection and a dragon in this rambunctious show at Waterside with live music from acclaimed touring theatre company Third Party productions.

Originally created by animators Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin (also behind Basil Brush and The Clangers), and first broadcast on the BBC in 1959, this special stage adaptation follows the sagas of the gentle Norse Prince Noggin.

Playing to rave reviews since its Edinburgh debut, expect great things as together with the mighty Thor Nogson and green bird Graculus “go North on a journey of adventure and discovery to battle the fearsome Ice Dragon and the dastardly deeds of Noggin’s wicked uncle; Nogbad the Bad!”

Split into two halves with a complete story in each – Noggin and The King and Noggin and The Ice Dragon it promises to be a charming afternoon for both Noggin fans and Noggin novices alike.
