Manifesto at Rogue Artists’ Studios, Manchester 6 — 7 October 2018 Entrance is free

Rogue Artists’ Studios officially re-opens to the public this October with a special launch weekend event (5-7 Oct) at its new home in the former Varna Street school buildings in Openshaw, Manchester. The opening will feature Manifesto – the inaugural exhibition of the new Rogue Project Space in the ground floor main school hall, consisting of new and recent work by Rogue studio holders, curated by Rogue in association with Manifest Arts.

Also catch a special programme of performances on 5 Oct featuring Owl Project, Jane Chavez-Dawson, Mike Chavez-Dawson, Noise Orchestra, Nicola Smith, Ruby Tingle and Simon Woolham in the first floor Rogue Platform Space. And Rogue’s partner organisations, internationally celebrated dance company Company Chameleon and TASC (The Architecture School for Children), who will host opening events in the front Nursery building at Varna Street.

Rogue is home to more than 80 artists and collectives, and its Project Space has been a showcase for some of the most exciting contemporary art in the region. Manifesto will be open by appointment from 8 Oct-21 Dec (excluding weekends).
