Leeds International Festival’s temporary Speigeltent hosts what promises to be an uplifting show with the House Gospel Choir this April.

The 20-strong group – who have worked with Candi Staton, Tom Jones, Stormzy and Jessie Ware – give house music classics such as Show Me Love and Ain’t Nobody the choral treatment for a powerful, high-energy performance. Firm festival favourites, the choir have appeared at Womad, Manchester International Festival and Bestival.

The Speigeltent in Millennium Square, with its retro cabaret styling, should prove the ideal venue for their LIF date.
