During your visit be sure to check in with the Bridgewater pigs during feeding time too. Get up close during a feeding-time talk and find out how they use mud and soil to help themselves (and us).

With a range of drop-in sessions running throughout the half term, mini gardeners and explorers can make their very own 5-star worm hotel, enjoy a kitchen scrap gardening workshop or get up close and personal with a range of creepy crawlies, courtesy of ZooLab. There will also be opportunities to create a paper plate garden and explore the stunning woodland and its inhabitants during a spotter trail. Smaller nature lovers can relax during a storytelling session with Ursula Holden Gill and make lots of noise during ‘Burrows, Worms and Roots’, an interactive song and play session for babies and toddlers.

We love that all of the half term activities are free with garden admission. Additionally, Salford residents can visit the garden for free every Tuesday. Offering heaps of hands-on fun and lots of areas to explore, RHS Garden Bridgewater is a brilliant trip out for nature lovers of all ages.
