In partnership with 14-18 NOW, this day-long fashion symposium takes the Fashion & Freedom exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery as its starting point. Offering a wide variety of perspectives on working in fashion, it’s ideally suited to aspiring and emerging fashion professionals. There will be workshops and talks from Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush, designer Sadie Williams (whose work features in Fashion & Freedom; see the image above), fashion photographer Jez Tozer (who’s worked for GQ, Vogue and i-D), fashion curator Jenna Rossi-Camus, stylist and fashion director Kim Howells and the creative director of Fashion & Freedom Darrell Vydelingum.
