Manchester Family Arts Fun Day at Central Library

Family Fun Day at Manchester Central Library, Manchester 10 September 2017 Entrance is free

Four hours of free creative events this Sunday to celebrate Heritage Open Days and the autumn season for some of Manchester’s most family-friendly arts venues and festivals? Yes please. We love that Central Library’s expansive new open spaces make family days here a joy and there will be a chance to find out what’s coming up across the next few months at the city’s cultural attractions.

Take part in a special family tour of the magnificent Central Library Building (which we think should be a contender for one of the modern wonders of the world) and head to meet the talented teams from Z-Arts, Manchester Museum, The People’s History Museum and Manchester Literature Festival. The theme is a celebration of family across the generations and activities include creating memory maps, family scrapbooks and storytelling.

Don’t forget your dancing shoes and best moves for Central Library’s first ever silent disco.
