Prolific funk guitarist Cory Wong (Vulfpeck / The Fearless Flyers) returns to Manchester in February with a joyous new album and his signature blend of guitar wizardry, laugh-out-loud jokes and eccentric visuals. His latest record, Motivational Music For The Syncopated Soul (2019) is, as the title suggests, an altogether uplifting third effort. “The guiding light is to impart a feeling of joy”, Cory explains. “I want people to experience instrumental music in a different way. This is hype. It’s more than just guitar.”

A perfect gig to shake off the midwinter blues, don’t miss Cory and his infectious zest for life at The Ritz!
