If you are the type of person who prefers to be a bit more hands on with your evening, then Cooking Together is the perfect alternative to eating out. Let yourself be welcomed into the modern kitchen and cosy dining area of Food Sorcery where you will prepare and cook your own restaurant standard three course meal. Tickets are sold in pairs and although it may look like a cookery classroom from the outside, Cooking Together is very much a social event. Throughout the evening you’ll be under the supervision of a highly trained and well travelled chef who will be bringing a personal twist to some classic dishes. With every event a vegetarian option is available and because you are the creator of your meal, you can steer the flavours towards your own palate and tastes. All dietary requirements and allergies are catered for in the sessions. The evening is as much about enjoying the process of making something new, having fun and perhaps learning a thing or two as it is about eating some great food. The meal starts with a complimentary drink and at the end you don’t even have to worry about the washing up, leaving you to enjoy all of the best parts of cooking without any of the hassle.

Food Sorcery is a welcoming and relaxed cookery school which is just off the beaten track in a peaceful corner of Didsbury. It’s easy to forget that you’re in suburban Manchester when you’re looking out over their terrace across the river and into the green fields beyond. For two years Food Sorcery have been sharing their passion for cookery and now run a whole host of events including specialist cuisine classes and events for parents and children to learn together. Be sure to check the Food Sorcery website for the dates and times of upcoming Cooking Together events. It is advised to book in advance as places can fill up quickly.
