Returning to Croxteth Country Park for two days this August, the BBC Summer Social is set to sizzle with music, live performance and sporting prowess.

Whatever floats your boat, you will find it here. Tots to teens will love all of the action. Each day boasts a different line-up featuring many of the BBC’s favourite faces, and plenty of other zones, creative spaces and creativity.

Saturday is poptastic with Jo Whiley hosting Pixie Lott, Busted, John Newman, Donel Nina Nesbitt, Freya Ridings, Rak-Su and Max & Harvey on the main stage. Broadcast on the CBBC channel and BBC Radio 2, expect performance from some of CBBC’s most popular shows. Look out for the cast of Almost Never, and The Worst Witch.

Younger fans will be thrilled by Sunday’s offering which will also be broadcast live on CBeebies. Mr. Tumble will be head-lining the main stage (of course), alongside Andy Day & The Odd Socks, Dr Ranj, YolanDa’s Band Jam, Cook and Line from Swashbuckle, Hey Duggee and more.

Across both days, let loose on the BBC Sport Field. Have a go at everything from tennis to parkour and show off your best goal-scoring celebrations in the Match of the Day challenge. Meanwhile, a whole field of inflatables awaits, including the world’s largest bouncy castle.
